Clallam Grown's focus is to educate the people of Clallam County about the many reasons why local food is best. From personal health, to the environment, and our local economy, we need these elements to be strong so that we may all have better lives. We intend to make the process easier for both consumers and producers to participate in our food network, building connections and ensuring everyone has access to local goods.

-IMPORTANT NEWS ABOUT THE FLOODING IN WESTERN WASHINGTON-
Catastrophic events like the December storm give us
pause to count our blessings and the chance to become prepared for the
unexpected. Washington has a strong food network and this is not due
to luck. Groups like Clallam Grown serve to connect the dots between
growers and consumers and this is especially important in a
geographically remote region like ours. As a community we must come
together and form this network so that if need be we will have the
ability to jump to action, to feed our neighbors and lend a helping
hand.
The Washington Farm Bureau has created a relief fund where 100% of proceeds will go to the immediate needs of farmers and ranchers hit by the storm.
The Gleaners Coalition is organizing clean up crews and is accepting donations. --------------------------------------------------------------
