10th Annual Friends of the Fields 100 Mile Dinner
Save the Date! The Annual 100-Mile
Harvest Dinner will be held on Sunday, September 27 at
the Guy Cole Convention Center, Carrie Blake Park in
Sequim. Social hour starts at 5:30 p.m. and the unique,
delicious, and completely local meal starts at 6:30 p.m.
A fabulous meal, live music, Silent Auction, and great
company, AND you help protect local farmland!

North Olympic Peninsula Farm-to-Cafeteria Conference, Jamestown Tribe Community Center This is a Peninsula-wide effort to:
* Increase awareness of the social, economic, and environmental
benefits of farm-to-cafeteria program in our community
* Stimulate innovative thinking and action amongst key decision-makers
* Present workable options for beginning farm-to-cafeteria programs in our communities The
conference will feature speakers involved in similar programs in the
Northwest, sharing details on what worked for their institutions.
